Visual Diary: My 27th Birthday

Last year I spent my 26th in Tokyo, a neon dreamland paradise. This year I headed off to London with my close friends Sam and Allan and enjoyed a right good rave at Ministry of Sound. They were holding a Glitterbox event and it sounded like soo much fun!! Also I get so say I spent a night in Ministry of Sound. Winner Winner!!!

I got there about half eleven(ish) and made my way to Camden Market where I went to my favourite shop, Cyberdog. They have dancers, an in-house DJ and the coolest rave gear you can think of!! I treated myself to a really nice sports bra which glows in the dark. We then headed to the hotel and had a little dip in the swimming pool.

Before our rave we headed out to Cafe Rouge where we booked for a meal. Afterwards we had a little walk around St Paul’s Cathedral which looks absolutely beautiful at night!! We headed back to the hotel for a pre-drink or two and then went straight to Ministry of Sound.

It was sooo much fun!! I can’t remember anything clearly but a distinct memory for me was when they played the Boogie Pimps remix of ‘Sunny’ and I lost my absolute shit! Obviously it’s London so everything is 10x more expensive than anywhere else, so I stopped drinking alcohol and stuck to water for the rest of my night.

The very next day I was absolutely hanging. I woke up at 11, left the hotel at 12 and I had 5 hours and 30 minutes to kill until I needed to catch my train. So I walked. I walked all around London. I walked to Oxford Street, Soho, Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park, the bit with the statues (I can’t remember what it’s called), and then I headed back to Victoria, not before enjoying my third Yo Sushi of the week!! Yum Yum Yum!!

Such an awesome weekend!! Next rave will be in April and that’s going to be a big one!! Can’t wait to show you all!!
