On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
Opinion: Oh My God!!! How freaking amazing does this look!? This film is going to be absolutely epic and I cannot wait to see the whole ensemble together!! Thanos is going to make a fine villain. I’ve watched the first trailer but I might resist temptation in watching any more after this!! I want to be surprised!!

Black Panther

Opinion:“Don’t Freeze’.
                “I Never Freeze’
This film looks absolutely epic!!! The costumes, the colour, the music!! Everything about this film looks spot on!! I’m particularly excited to see Angela Bassett, who looks amazing as Ramonda. I also the trailers were quite…seductive? Everyone I’ve spoken to for some reason found the trailer to be…arousing. I believe it’s because it oozed soo much confidence. This film is here to dominate and you can tell that by the trailer.

Ocean’s 8

Plot: Criminal mastermind Debbie Ocean and seven other female thieves try to pull off the heist of the century at New York’s annual Met Gala. Their target — a necklace that’s worth more than $150 million.
Opinion: I was in doubt about this film (not because it had an all-female cast, but because I didn’t want it to be compared to the boys) but the trailer and my entire attention and I realised this film is going to stand by itself!! It looks slick, it looks clever and funny. I also cannot wait to see Awkwafina in this film!! I love her music so I cannot wait to see her acting skills!

Slender Man
Release Date: 18/5/2018
Director: Sylvain White
Writer: David Birke, Victor Surge
Actor(s): Joey King, Goldani Telles, Annalise Basso
Plot: Slender Man tells the story of a tall, thin, horrifying figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face, who is reputed to be responsible for the haunting and disappearance of countless children and teens.
Opinion: They’ve just released the first trailer and it looks creepy, but doesn’t give too much away either. I’m going to try and resist watching any more Slender Man trailers after this because I want to be surprised. I’m wondering if they’ll touch upon that gruesome tale of those teenage girls who sacrificed their friend because they thought Slender Man is real? It’ll be interesting to see…

Tomb Raider

The stakes couldn’t be higher as Lara must rely on her sharp mind, blind faith and stubborn spirit to venture into the unknown.
Opinion: It looks action-packed and amazing. I can’t wait to see how this pans out!! Lara Croft is an iconic female character in the world of gaming and whoever takes on her role will have such a weight on their shoulders. Alicia Vikander is going to kill it as Lara and I cannot wait to see Damien Wu in action too!!

Winchester

Winchester then decides to build an enormous mansion that’s designed to keep the evil spirits at bay. When skeptical psychiatrist Eric Price visits the estate to evaluate her state of mind, he soon discovers that her obsession may not be so far-fetched after all.
Opinion: If it has Helen Mirren in it it’s bound to be good!! The fact that it’s inspired by actual events makes it even more exciting!! I love horror films like and this is no exception. I might read into the story before watching the film though so I know exactly what’s happneing and who everyone is.

You Were Never Really Here

Director: Lynne Ramsey
Writer: Jonathan Ames, Lynne Ramsey
Actor(s): Joaquin Pheonix, Ekaterina Samsonov, Alessandro Nivola
Plot: A contract killer uncovers a conspiracy while trying to save a kidnapped teen from a life of prostitution.
Opinion: This looks absolutely incredible. it’s been described as a modern day Taxi driver and is been receiving tremendous accolade from many film festivals. Lynne is an amazing director and is someone I look up to in the creative industry. Her films have always been top notch and i don’t expect any different from this.

Day of the Dead: Bloodline
Release Date: 5/1/2018
Director: Hector Hernandez Vicens
Writer: Mark Tonderai, Lars Jacobson
Actor(s): Sophie Skelton, Johnathon Schaech, Jeff Gum
Plot: A small group of military personnel and some survivalists dwell in an underground bunker as they seek to find a cure in a world overrun by zombies.
Opinion: I love how zombie films have progressed in recent years. The first amazing batch were all about the infestation of zombies or the rise of zombies. Now films are finding new ways to entertain us when it comes to zombie films and now the main focus is on finding a cure which is very refreshing. Even though this film gives a strong, rapey vibe which doesn’t sit comfortably with me, I’m still very excited to see what happens. This is going to be more perplexing than your average zombie film.
