What was meant to only be one post has a follow up. There were waaay too many delicious recipes out there that I had to share with you my dear dear followers and readers. Looking at all these recipes made me soo incredibly hungry, by the time I was searching for them I made haste to my local Tesco Express and purchased all my favourite comfort foods. It is Christmas after all!
Streaky Stuffing Parcels
I love stuffing!! Stuffing is hands-down my favourite add-on at the Christmas meal (maybe second to roast potatoes). Now I found stuffing recipes that I would’ve considered that maybe a bit ‘out there’ for some of you so I stuck with simple one’ sage and onion stuffing wrapped in bacon. Easy and delicious.
Thai Turkey Dippers
A great party canape and a great way to use up any leftover chicken!! They look absolutely scrumptious and the sweet chilli would make the perfect dipping sauce! I will definitely try and make these once my culinary skill has advanced.
Triple Cheese and Aubergine Lasagne
I don’t eat pasta anymore and I haven’t for the past four years, but if I was to have vegetarian guests over for a Christmas meal this is the dish I would probably serve. It’s a good hearty meal that could easily please a crowd.
Peanut Butter Chicken
Eating healthy and consuming protein is vital for me in my quest to be lean and strong. Chicken is the only meat I eat when I’m dieting and sometimes it can get a little boring. Peanut Butter is one of my favourite product to consume, so adding it to chicken to me is the best culinary creation ever!!! I definitely need to learn to make this!!
Sweet Chilli Tofu with Pineapple Stir-fried Noodles
This is the perfect dish to use all your left-over…tofu…you had at Christmas dinner. This sounds like such a healthy filling meal that I might add it to my weekly diet plan, however I will skip the pineapple…gross.
