Here is my second part on my trip to Tokyo articles! Warning: there are going to many articles on the way – I took 1000+ images and I intend to showcase the majority!!
Gashapon Street is hidden in a Undergound Train Station but once you find it you will not want to leave!!! IT’S AMMMAZZZING!!! They had so so many cute shops ranging from a Shounen Jump shop (which I bought a TON of stuff, I’ll slowly be showing you them), a Moomin shop, a Studio Ghibli shop (obviously), a Hello Kitty store etc etc etc. I could name them all for you but there won’t be anything for you to discover when you go there yourself!
Tokyo is full of Gashapon machine which is where half of my money went and they varied from anime Gashapons to the very weird. I’ll be creating Gashapon videos soon since I have so many now so keep your eyes peeled for them!
Akihabara is a Otaku’s wet dream!! I have never seen so many figures collected in one area before in my life!!! Here is the place to go for Maid Cafe’s, the street were teaming with thwm handing out flyers and what not. On my last day in Shibuya I managed to find a ‘Butlers’ cafe too!! Definitely going there in September!!
Akihabara is for the nerds, if you don’t collect figurines, or watch anime or Hentai makes if you feel very uncomfortable then this is certainly not the place for you!! We played on the Arcade games and searched high a low for the perfect figurine to remember my trip. I found her. She’s cute! I’ll be doing a post on her very soon!!
J-WORLD and Pokemon Shop
I was really excited to go to J-WORLD as it was on my list of things to do. It’s a brilliant place to take liitle ones and also a good place to take someone who has the same interests as you. My father is 73, and he doesn’t know much about anime but he did try his best. Snaos for the bloke but he did enjoy the food which as you was kawaii as Hell!!!
The Pokemon shop was amazing!! I have never seen so many plushies before!! Definitely buying one next time!!
Part three will be up tomorrow!!!
