The last 19 Days chapter was amazingly written and the emotions conveyed flew right of the pages!! The intense build up to what’s about to happen is reaching new heights and the fandom are at the edge of their seats, wondering what’s going to happen to our precious Jian Yi. In the last panel of Day 193, we saw Jian Yi’s determined mother, snatching the keys of the table and marching out of the house, uttering his name. This manga mother is on the rampage and you cannot really blame!! She is out for blood!! So what’s going to happen in this newest chapter?
In our first panel we see Jian Yi opening his eyes. Turns out he thought everything was just a dream, but in actual fact he was really kidnapped and the panel gives us a wider view of his surroundings. He’s been chained by his leg and has his hands tied behind his back. He lying on top of a dirty mattress. He’s been given a bottle of water and some form of snack.
Of course he goes into panic, his kidnapper informs him that if he behaves he won’t get hurt. Jian Yi’s begins to bargain with him, telling him that if he needs money, then he knows of a better candidate for him to kidnap (that being He Tian). His kidnapper informs him that he isn’t doing this for the money and Jian Yi’s is left pondering why.
We’re left with another cliffhanger ending and this one is not pleasant. The last panel made me feel uncomfortable and, to be honest I’m not looking forward to the next chapter. I would like this storyline to end quickly if I’m being entirely honest. There is humour thrown into the mix in this chapter, the facial expressions Jian Yi’s wears gives the chapter a nicer tone. I love the fact he throws He Tian under a bus, which reminds me I do hope that He Tian and Mo Guanshan return soon!! I miss them!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up helping Zhang in finding Jian Yi. He Tian seems to know about his brothers whereabouts most of the time so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already looking form him!
I do hope the next chapter is a bit more lighthearted. This chapter was too much for me.
