You can buy these pieces from H&M

Even though these photos were taken in the middle of October this is my main Christmas outfit for 2016: The Tuxedo!!! I have never felt so comfortable, and stylish, and well dressed than I do in this tux. I’ve never felt comfortable wearing dresses and I’m really not comfortable in showing my legs, so finding something smart and something I feel comfortable in wearing proved to be extremely difficult.

The tux gives me a boost. I always feel so confident when I wear it and I feel so smart (which helps with the confidence  which then in turn helps me in how I carry the outfit). Of course you might get a snigger or two or a few stares (some people have never seen a woman wearing a dickie bow before), and I did experience some stares and a few giggles but, in all honesty, I couldn’t give a damn because I felt soo good about myself and there is nothing wrong in feeling good about yourself. It’s the first time I’ve put something smart and gone ‘Boy, you look good’.

All the pieces from this outfit was purchased in H&M. However is not a set piece, I had to mix and match the trousers and jacket. The dickie bow (the key piece to this attire) was from Marks & Spencers. I would like to point out that the purchase of the dickie bow was done before I found out that they use child refugees to make their clothing. I do not buy clothing from them anymore. Since I bought this tux I’ve bought one or two other smart key pieces. I’ve treated myself to a velvet blue tux jacket from Boohoo after seeing BTS’s music video ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’.

I cannot wait to wear this over the Christmas period. I feel like I can rule the world in this outfit and I want people to see it!

P.S These lovely folks!
