Gibraltar was our first stop on our 14 day holiday around the Med. Gibraltar boasts some amazing caves as well as some playful monkeys!!! It’s (or it was) a great place to shop, I bought my baby (and by baby I mean my Canon) in Gibraltar 5 years ago and it was the best damn thing I ever bought!!
We started the trip by catching a taxi which gave us a mini excursion of the city. Unfortunately it was raining but it was still a pleasant day. Dan has never been to Gibraltar before so I needed to make sure that the weather would not ruin that for us, specifically for him.
The caves were our first port of call and they were gorgeous. They occasionally use these caves as a music venue and it’s on my bucket list that I will see a show there!! I don’t care what the show is as long as I get to see it performed in these beautiful caves!!! Afterwards we headed up the cliff to find the monkeys!!
Of course you should never feed the monkeys since they bite and also try and not show off your possessions in front of them either…they will find a way to nick it and you will never get it back!! It was kicking off between the monkeys. Vicious little shits they were but they provided me with plenty of photography opportunities so I shouldn’t complain!!
We managed to find a comic book shop when we were making our way back to the ship!!! Dan got his nephew a Christmas gift while I bought myself some mystery mini’s and a Vegeta Funko Pop (blog post coming soon). We ended up doing most of our christmas shopping on our holiday. We’re practically done!! We didn’t have enough time in Gibraltar since we had to be back on the ship by two but we enjoyed the time we had.
