I haven’t done a food post for a while so I thought I would share with you a little luncheon I had down in Roath Park in Cardiff.
Just next to the lake where you can ride the pedalo’s you will find a quaint little cafe known as Terro Nova. Overlooking the lake the cafe is situated perfectly and whilst there my friend and I managed to snag the perfect table overlooking the lake. While in the middle of people watching, we had a quick look at the menu to see what took or fancy!
I decided that today was definitely going to be a carb and opted for the Tuna panini with chips while my companion opted for ham and cheese panini. It was delicious!! Nothing beats a good tuna panini and chips. Simple, yet tasty lunch!
We would’ve stuck around for dessert but we were soo full, went slightly overboard with the stodgy carbs. Afterwards we decided to head back around the park. I had Pokemon to catch hehehe!!
The building itself (well the part we were in) was slightly compact, not much space but the other side of the cafe had a bit more breathing space but full of little babies and young children, some were running around and others were crying and I didn’t think my patience could take it!
I will definitely get a dessert next time. I’ll make sure to order a smaller mains. I kept eyeing up the Mille Feuille since they looked sooooo gooood!!!
Definitely visit again!! Maybe next time I’ll just focus on the glorious desserts they had on offer!!
