Bei badgirl is, without a doubt, one of my favourite artists and when she opened her online store I jumped at the chance to own her work in some form or another. An artist, Kawaii princess and all round badass female, Beibadgirl is an artist who inspires positivity and inner confidence and should be every girls best friend.
Bei Badgirl is an internationally exhibiting artist based in Sydney. Her collaborators include Curvy, EMI Music, Hello Kitty, MTV and My Little Pony. Her sugar-sweet works are inspired by Superflat movement, pop culture, and her own life experiences and obsessions. She also an advocate for body positivity and has become an art dept. for LA based brand Nikki Lipstick.
I bought the ‘Badgirl Starter Pack’ since it was in my price range at the time but with the bonus I’m planning on getting ‘BFF Sugar baby Pack’which includes two Sugar Babies stickers, one in cocoa butter and the other in whipped cream, a butt selfie sticker again one comes in cocoa butter and the other comes in whipped cream and two ‘Thanks Daddy’ credit card stickers so I’ll keep one for myself and give the other to Katrin since we both like her work.
With the ‘Badgirl Starter Pack’ you receive three vinyl stickers!! You get a pink mermaid, a badgirl heart photo and a Kawaii merkitty sticker too!! I absolutely love the Mermaid Sticker so much!! To be honest I would buy all her art in sticker form. I love the pastel colours and the finer details to the mermaid such as the little tattoo to the beading on her outfit. The bow in her hair is also extremely precious. What is the most distinct feature of her work (for me personally) is the eyes!!! Eyeliner and Lashes bigger than your ego!!!
(Just for those who may be interested to know I received my little seashell from Katrin for Christmas which I think you can get from Primark. I thought it suited the post theme)
So what will I do with these stickers?
They’ll become the front cover from the scrapbook I’m creating on my first trip to Tokyo next October. I thought they would be fitting.
I’ll enclose this post with some wise words from Bei herself, “Just be cute, and don’t worry”.
