I love love LOVE finding new stores to fangirl over, especially online stores!! Some of the best stores I’ve ever found have been online stores such as Nikkilipstick, Shop Jeen among others. Even though I’ve just ranted to you all about how much I LOOVE online stores I actually found this store during my Comic Con adventure, sweeet!! Again I find that Comic Con is a fantastic place to find new stores as well as brands, designers and artists.
Curious Creations is an online store specialising in handmade items from bespoke clothing, corsets as well as many other amazing accessories. If you visit their Facebook (I shall be adding a link at the end of the post) you will see how kawaii their hair accessories are (The Zelda Princess hair band is probably my favourite) but what caught my attention at Comic Con were the shoes!!
I love big bold shoes. If I wasn’t tall I would be in permanent heels I believe but I can’t wear or I’ll tower over the little boys so instead I can only appreciate them from afar and these beauties deserved all of my appreciation. Here are some of my favourites that caught my eye in Comic Con. I would like to apologise beforehand to the pictures themselves. They do not show these creations in the best, I had to work with what I had, a big thank you to both staff member who helped me arrange the shoes and for letting me take their images.
Black Sword Shoes
These are what caught my eye (and everyone else’s eye) in the first. The Black Sword Shoes cost £100 and can be made in any size however they have to be made with platform sole only. You can also get these shoes in the wedge variety too (which you’ll be able to see on their website). These would be perfect if you a massive Game of Thrones fan. I just love them! I haven’t seen shoes like it before and I probably won’t until the next Comic Con.
Flesh and Blood Zombie Shoes
These reminded me of my good ol’ Blue Banana days!! I absolutely adore the stitching style on the edge of the shoes + you can also get them in green. I’m loving the black and green combo if I’m honest, the flesh and blood style reminds me a lot of the Walking Dead. Both shoes are priced at £99.
My Little Pony Platforms
I’m going through an awful My Little Pony, never watched the show when I was younger but I can appreciate it’s cuteness now. Of course these platforms were clearly created for every die hard My Little Pony fan. Unfortunately I have no idea how much they’re being sold for.
