In the New year I have decided that at least twice I will release my portfolio work, whether it’s old or whether it’s new. As someone with a photography degree I should be putting that degree and skill to use and make my work known otherwise being in this much debt would’ve been a waste of time.

Due to the fact that it’s Christmas and we usually never get snow and I mean ever I decided to create a portfolio around my Christmas tree which jam-packed full of decoration dating back to my great grandmother. We as a family are slight hoarders, we never throw anything family related out including the decoration however, over time out little collection has built up over the year and we now have decorations from Disneyland Paris as well as The Simpsons decorations too.

We have two trees in our house, my parents have one and I have one. Obviously my parents have the bigger Christmas tree and as you can see it’s very colourful very full and looks like a constructive mess!! A tidy looking Christmas tree is out the question in our household, if it doesn’t look like psychedelic nightmare then it’s not our tree.

I have the baby tree because I’m the baby of the family however mine is all the silver decorations and again it’s a mess, streamers galore!! Fun fact: my dad bought more streamers because we didn’t have enough apparently! Mine is mostly Winnie the Pooh and angel themed with a chibi glitzy Santa thrown in the mix.

Our tinsel was also bought in Disneyland Paris. I’m hoping next year ill be able to attend Hyper Japan  in London and then I can anime themed decorations for my tree. I’ve also been fancying a baby pink tree in Marks & Spencer and I’m hoping to buy it before Christmas is over, the only problem is that i have nowhere to put it and until I get a more permanent house I have no attic to store it in so I will have to patiently wait.

I hope you enjoyed my post as well as my images!!
