So I went to London Comic Con in October and I ended up having the BEST time ever!!! if you’ve been reading my blog for a while you would know that I try and attend as many comic cons as I can around Britain which is great for the experience but awful for my bank account (as it would be for anybody. I went absolutely crazy this time round and bought so much which is problematic since I had to lug it around London. They were great buys and I wanted to share with you what I bought, who from and if you’re interested in any of the items you can buy them yourselves. Now without further a do’ let’s begin!!

Rin Matsuoka Plushie
Isn’t he adorable?! I fell in love instantly I already have Makoto so getting Rin was a no brainer. Hopefully they will release a Sousuke plushie soon and then I’ll be very happy. I don’t mind the other characters but these three are my favourites. I love his little shark grin  of his too. He’s just cute as a button!!!

Hello Kitty Biscuits
Such a kawaii packaging, of course I’m big fan of Hello Kitty and of course I have an awful sweet tooth so I decided to try these out and boy were they delicious. So so sweet. They had a different taste to them compared to other biscuits I’ve eaten and still now I cannot quite place the taste but regardless they are yummy!!

Yaoi Art by Jensuis Wikrad(?)
The reason i’ve put a question mark next to her name is because I’m not sure if she’s the one who created this. I’ve been on her blog as well as her website and they have the same style as this painting… but like I said I’m not quite sure. If anyone knows i’m right or they know that I’m wrong please do not hesitate to comment because I don’t want to put another artists link up on someone else’s work, but, regardless it’s a beautiful piece and I love the style and flare the painting has. As you can see I went on a slight Yaoi binge at Comic Con but there is something nostalgic about it for me since I use to read them so much when I was younger.

Zombie X_0 Comic
Every time I attend a comic con, wherever it may be I always find a new comic artist whose work I just fall in love with and this little beauty is from artist David Rees. The work is raw and the story is absolutely great I was hooked from the first page. Hopefully he’ll be at the next comic con so I can purchase issue 2!! Mr Rees didn’t have any links but he did give me his twiiter page.

Togepi Pokemon Plushie
How cute is this?!?! One of the cutest Pokemon around and now I own it in Plushie form. I love all the original Pokemon characters (my favourite being Ninetales). I already have a vulpix plush and I’m planning on getting Mewtwo next. This one is pretty cute though don’t you think?!

You can buy your own Togepi here

Mega-Venusaur Piece
To carry on with the Pokemon theme I managed to snag myself this lush watercolour of mega-venusaur which is going to go straight on the wall once I find the perfect frame for it. Unfortunately I didn’t snag the artists card since the excitement of Comic Con got the better of me. I love it though! So vibrant and pretty.

Paul Rudd Comic Strip
Ever thought how it would feel to own your own Paul Rudd Comic Strip? Have you ever wondered how it would feel if Paul Rudd gave you a foot massage? Well, now you can own a Paul Rudd comic where he marries himself, fathers his own child and gives you a foot massage. It’s so dorky and I love it!!

Gintama Yaoi Wall Scroll
After comic con we got a bite to eat in chinatown and afterwards we had a little stroll and explored the area, at this moment Jenni managed to find a little shop selling tonnes of Korean and anime merch and it’s where I found this rare gem!! Running with Yaoi theme again this shall be my second Gintama scroll, while the first one I bought was dark and broody this is…well… the complete opposite but I loved it straight away!

I bought quite a bit of artwork which I shall  show you…

….in the next post (hehehe)

xoxo
