I’ve reached the age and point in my life where most of my friends and peers are either getting married, putting a mortgage down on popping the little uns out like it’s nobodies business so wedding imagery and planning is becoming a common feature in my life. Aislestyle got in contact with me not too long asking me to have a look at their 2016 wedding dresses collection (while, by coincidence, I found my perfect Dragon Ball Z style engagement ring, don’t worry Daniel not for a while I promise).
Their 2016 collection is absolutely stunning and they have something for everyone!! What I really love is the layout on their website on how you can choose what your wedding dress will look like. You choose the silhouette you fancy, you can also choose the hemline or train (whether you prefer long or short they have a style or length to fit whatever style you prefer) and you can also choose you preferred neckline, choices include jewel, halter, illusion neck and Queen Anne Neck. I didn’t realise how much goes into choosing your perfect wedding dress! I was just gonna buy a white small dress from Oxfam!!
As you can tell by their website, your dress is their priority and they have every style going, as they say on their website ‘Explore our extensive collection of breathtaking wedding dresses, our forever-updating gowns in different styles, like vintage, designer, coast and country; features, like a-line, mermaid, ball gown and empire; lengths, like short, full length and tea length;fabrics, like lace, chiffon and satin will best satisfy you in your big day.’
They have so many to choose from that I really cannot write about them all (BOO) so I’ve decided to pick my top favourite dresses from their 2016 collection!!
Shoulder Straps Crystal Detailling Lace Bodice Flounce Tulle Wedding Dress
Look at the back of it!! Isn’t it beautiful. I’m not one for a big fuss so this is quite perfect!! It comes in many colours which include white and champagne. It has a ball gown silhouette with a chapel train, it’s from the vintage inspired collection and has a shoulder strap neckline. it’s made from tulle fabric and has crystal detailing with some lace, pattern and print. As you can see from the images it’s a backless dress with a natural waist. It’s so chic and feminine, perfect for your inner girly girl.
Boho Two Piece Jewel Neck Lace Top A-line Chiffon Wedding Dress
This is a perfect wedding dress for the summer or a beach wedding. I do love the crop top style to it. It’s looks relaxed and simple, not too over the top. It has an A-line silhouette with a sweep/brush train again like the above it’s vintage inspired. The neckline is both jewel and illusion neck while the dress is made of chiffon. The dress is suitable from Spring, Summer and Fall with short sleeve length and lace embellishments.
3/4 Sleeved Bateau Neck All over Lace Pattern Wedding Dress
This dress reminds me so much of kate Middletons wedding dress which, as we all remember, was absolutely stunning!! The pattern on it is so detailed!! It’s such an elegant looking dress!! You would be definitely turning heads in this beautiful number!! This is certainly not suitable for the beach like the one above, a church wedding would be a more appropriate. The dress has an A-line silhouette with a sweep hemline and a brush train. It has a bateau neckline and it’s made out of lace fabric. It has that classic and timeless quality to it that suitable for any season. Obviously from the name it has a 3/4 sleeve length with a lace pattern and print and a v back design.
Gorgeous Strapless Sweetheart Tiered Ruffled Ball Gown Champagne Wedding Dress with Ribbon
Even though a white wedding is always beautiful and of course traditional, I do love my champagne coloured dresses. The colour is not too over the top and in your face and has this chic stylish feel to it. I love the back of this dress!! So frilly I love it!! The dress has a ball gown silhouette with a floor length hemline and a long train. It has a sweetheart strapless neckline and made from organza fabric. Such a modern looking dress and yet quite elegant. Embellishments include ruffles and tiers as well as sashes and ribbons with a lace up back.
Gorgeous Half Sleeved Tea Length Short Wedding Dress with Black Sash
How vintage is this?! So 50’s!! it’s the type of dress you expect Bettie Paige to wear at her wedding!! I can imagine the wedding you would have with this dress too, a barnyard location with picnic tables. It’ll have that retro feel to it. If you love the classic vintage style then this is definitely the dress for you!! The dress has an A-line silhouette with a knee length hemline and a short train. It has a scoop neckline and made from lace. It has a half sleeve length with many embellishments which include lace (duh!) ribbons, prints and sashes and it also has a open back
