In my ‘Portfolio: Exploring Tenby’ post I briefly mention a little shop called ‘Equinox’. It’s one of my favourite shops in the Tenby area and I usually buy my lovely Betty Boop figurines from there. Unfortunately during my last visit they seemed to have stopped selling them (luckily I don’t collect them anymore) however I did manage to find some other great little items that I really wanted to show you. The shop itself specialises in ladies clothing (for those who enjoy the carefree hardcore hippy style, not the stylish ‘let’s go to Coachella and wear daisies in our hair’ hippy style), jewellery, incense and candles, furnishings (it’s where I purchased my torso lamp), cards for all occasions and much much more including children’s toys. So without further ado, let’s begin….
Check out my new cup!! Isn’t it great?! For those of you who didn’t know I have pet milk-snake named Houdini. He got his name because he nearly escaped the first day we had when he was 10 days old. He was less than a foot long, 13 years later and he’s 4 foot and a little darling (still tries to escape and bite but I put that down to his age, you know, the awkward 13 year old phase. The cup reminds me of him and since I never get to see him ( no room for pets in my abode) I will have to settle with this cup. I loved it so much they also had a grass-snake design as well as a king cobra design too.
I also purchased these gorgeous lilac earrings. When I was younger I didn’t really want my ears pierced, I didn’t like the idea of a second worth of pain but I’m glad that my mother dragged me to get them done. I do like how they have a range of style now. I usually buy my earrings from Topshop but after about my five wears they either break or I lose one. I’ve had these for three weeks since I bought them and they’re still in my ears and are not going anywhere. Obviously they came in a range of colours but I loved the feminine vibe these were giving and I’m trying to wean myself off baby pink and venture on other colours for my wardrobe.
Equinox has a Facebook page which you can visit here but they do not have a website dedicated to their store and I can’t seem to find any other social media that they use. Best times to visit is during Christmas when they have their Christmas decorations up, the shop looks incredibly pretty.
