I went back to my old turf for a few days, just to get away from the average sized city (can’t quite describe it as a ‘big’ city). While I was there the sun was shining and our Indian summer was at it’s peak so the rents and I decided on a day trip to our favourite beach town Tenby or Dinbych Y Pysgod to us Welsh folk. It’s a hours drive away and it’s near Folly Farm and Oakwood. Which hopefully in the future I’ll do a post on them.
Tenby is one of my favourite places to escape the hussle and bussle of the metropolitan life. It’s usually just myself and my camera and a little notebook and I walk around, take my images for my portfolio and jot my ideas down on what I want to do with my future. So many ideas, little knowledge on how to begin.
When we arrive we visit the new restaurant on the beach front called The South Beach Grill (post coming soon) and then we had a lovely walk around.
Mother and I visit our favourite shop called ‘Equinox’, which always sell the coolest hippy items around! I bought one or two items which you shall see soon. There were many beach themed shops too which were so beautiful but too much out of my price range!!
Nothing beats a good ol’ walk in a Welsh rural village, it’s always pleasant to hear the Welsh language as you walk by! Unfortunately we were too full for ice cream, Tenby has tonnes of ice cream parlours, full of different flavours that’ll make you dribble!
I’m happy with my images too!! I have a few that I can add to my portfolio and I have a few from a while ago that I would also like to show you. The sky was clear and there were not many people around.
I’m loving this Indian summer we’re having, not that we had a summer to begin with but it’s nice to have some heat during the year! Of course there was a slight breeze but what do you expect for a beach town?!
I hope you enjoy my images and I cannot wait to show you ones I’ve already taken.
