We ended up celebrating a lot of events during our Ibiza stay. First Dan and I celebrated our first year anniversary, I can honestly I’m impressed we haven’t killed eachother…yet… Allan’s birthday was Sunday where we headed out for food and the Amnesia. Wedensday was the wedding (post coming soon soon), and Friday was Sam’s birthday. Unfortunately I thought we were all heading out to Privilege for Sam’s birthday so I didn’t bring my big camera with me, and Dan was working on our Anniversary so we didn’t really celebrate it however I did have my camera for Allan’s. So without further a’do here is Allan’s birthday meal!!
We walked along the beach front for a good few minutes before we reached our destination: Mumak. It was a beautiful restaurant with it’s deco focusing on a tropical theme. It had a very chilled atmosphere and the service was top notch, very polite and welcoming which is what we needed that day. We opened our menus and started scanning it for some good spanish food. Dan opted for the quesadillas, which is something he has never tried before. Kudos to him for trying something different. He loved it as well. The options were vegetables, chicken or beef filling and he opted for the beef since he’s always eating chicken at work.
Because the quesadillas contained cheese (and I was not eating cheese at the beginning of the holiday, then I remembered I was on holiday so I ate as much cheese as I wanted) I didn’t have it and instead went with the Fajitas which also came with beef filling and sour cream. It was delicious but it wasn’t filling I could’ve easily gone for a dessert but we were heading out and didn’t want to feel bloated.
Sam came to join us for a minute or two for a quick chat. He chose the chilli con carne with white rice. It looked absolutely amazing!! The plate was absolutely full but he didn’t finish it!! I was cursing him under my breath, I would’ve demolished that in seconds but apparently it was too hot.
All in all, a lovely meal but bigger portions are necessary.
