When this came into the store (my workplace, John Lewis) I knew I had to have it. I could already picture wearing it in my head with my Marge Simpson fuchsia pink leggings from Romwe. My romwe leggings were my first ‘extreme clothing’ buy and I’ve never looked back. Back then, before the introduction of colour, my wardrobe was just black. Black tops, black trousers, black everything, these days I have no black clothing except my work uniform and that doesn’t count. I love them but I only wear them around the house. I did once venture out in them and they had very mixed reviews. Some people adored and some people hated them or made fun of them (i.e my mother). So I’ve only worn them when lounging around (I’m wearing them as I write this little post) and also on christmas. They’re so comfy it’s like a second skin.
I’ve been a fan of Eleven Paris for a while ever since the bought the brand into work, even though it’s a brand is in the menswear section in work, a few of their pieces are unisex so I’ve helped myself to one or two. I thought this t-shirt would be perfect for summer with some denim shorts and some high waisted sport socks and trainers and baseball cap.
I took these images in the back garden which as you can see is teeming with life. My parents are fond (and excellent) gardeners. We used to have vines growing up the wall but a snake got stuck in the gutter so we had to cut it down. Not going to lie not the easiest location to shoot as it’s such a busy background. I feel for Dan due to the fact that he has to take my images and he’s only done it seven times. I’ve done it for eight years and I get really impatient with him if it doesn’t come exactly as I want. Memo to self: be more patient!
If I’m honest these were not easy leggings to take images of either. Left leg Marge refused to co-operate and kept puckering at the knees. Regardless of all the problems (well minor inconveniences, problem is a bit dramatic) I love this outfit and I will rock it amongst humans at some point. Maybe when I head to Tokyo….
